Shipping Policy
The Customer has a legal period of fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of his order to signal to Golden Editions its intention to return the product and the reason for the return.
The return of the product or products is carried out in their original packaging, intact, accompanied by all possible accessories and documentation, in perfect condition for resale, with the indication of the order number to which the products relate .The product must be returned in a packaging provided for this purpose, not allowing the identification of the product (parcel post, bubble envelope, kraft paper, ...). Any damaged product, incomplete, absent or whose original packaging has been damaged, will not be refunded or exchanged and will be returned to the Customer. Golden Editions recommends to the Customer to return the products with a recommendation or a complementary insurance guaranteeing, if necessary, the compensation of the products up to their real market value in case of spoliation or loss of the package(s).
Regarding the foreign returns, the fees are in charge of the customer
In the event of exercise of the right of retraction, Golden Editions is held to refund to the Customer of the sums which it paid, without penalty, with the exception of the expenses of port. The refund is due without delay and at the latest within fourteen (14) days following the date of reception of the returned products. If the return of the product (s) purchased (s) is due to an error on the part of Golden Editions, shipping and return will be fully refunded to the Customer.

Our association EDUCATION IS GOLDEN was started in November 2020 and has the aim to democratize education in the weaving communities that we work with. Education is expensive in Ghana, families must not only pay fees but provide uniforms and books. As the weavers often work part-time, combining farming and other tasks within the communities, paying for school fees, uniforms and books can be a strain on the families and not always the priority. Younger children often stay home, and older teenagers may halt their education too early. The aim of the association is to help all members of the community to educate their children.
We hope that by the end of 2021 we can start our first initiative. Watch this space…
The Solution
We work with two weaving communities in Bolgatanga, one of them is supervised by a couple who also run a charitable association supporting women’s health and education. The weaving of the lamps has been a great challenge allowing the weavers to earn more and develop their skills. Workers are guaranteed good pay, we also help them to develop their business by partnering with other companies.
